What an absolute GEM this place is. I lived in the area for about 2 years before I discovered it. It was hiding in plain site right along NE 2nd ave just north of 27th street. It's in a cool building that's white with the word "love" written in red all over. I'm so glad I found this place because it's good healthy food at reasonable prices that always leaves me full. I found it scrolling through yelp one day and have since been there several times. It's great to have a local chill spot like that with really good food and good neighborhood vibes. I've also had it delivered before and the quality of the food was just as good.
For my delivery order I had the Mediterranean Bowl. I chose this one because it had so many of my favorite Mediterranean foods. The falafel and tzatziki were great. I loved everything about this bowl. The cucumber, chickpea and tomato salad was nice and refreshing but still filling and complimented the saltiness of the feta and olives. Chicken was cooked and season perfectly with the onions and yellow couscous was perfectly tender. Everything arrived on time and you can tell by the picture that they took their time in the kitchen to pack the bowl for a nice presentation after delivery.
For my dine in experience I had the falafel appetizer, the chicken shawarma and the pad Thai. A great part about dining here is the complimentary focaccia they bring out with this slightly spicy aioli dipping sauce with fresh rosemary. I always have two orders of it when I eat here lol. I have a major problem with falafel lol so I ordered it for my appetizer this time. For entrees we decided on chicken shawarma and pad Thai. The shawarma was good a perfectly healthy balanced meal with good flavors all throughout.
In spite of it being a mostly Mediterranean restaurant, they do a really good job with their Thai flair here as well. The pad Thai was surprisingly one of the better ones I've had here in Miami. I also suggest the Thai chicken bowl as it was filling and healthy and filled Thai spices and flavors.
Everything was excellent. I'm eventually going to make my way across their whole menu. -

Came here for a bday lunch on a weekdays.
At on the table all the way in the back, felt a little small and dark and perhaps too close to the kitchen... on one had felt a bit claustrophobic on the other hand I appreciate the mom-&-pop spot feel this brought on
For appetizers we had the fried raviolis and the grape leaves. Both were delicious! Good portions to share for 2 people. As an entree I had the mediterranean bowl. Substituted quinoa for rice... flavors were incredible!!
My momma had the teriyaki salmon bowl and she found it delightful. The restaurant was also kind enough to serve us a free dessert for my moms birthday.
We ended the meal with espressos. Our waitress (whose name I cannot recall) was extremely sweet and attentive enough that she felt one of the espressos did nto have enough coffee and so she offered to get us another one. -

I was there once on a Saturday night (June 22, 2019) and there was no line, no wait. I ordered "a bowl" and man... it was delicious. Doesn't matter which one because we all have different tastes and likes, right?
Service is pretty good, crowd is the casual midtown chic.
My Instagram search is not about food or popular locations to eat and as a soon to be Yelp Elite (lol) I do tend to Yelp for places to eat or drink but I don't go to places because they are on trend.
Now, it seems this place is on that list according to previous reviews and it's a must for many, but I gotta say, they are right about how good it is.
It's tiny as you may have read, so avoid on peek hours or call in advance to see how what's the wait time. -

Noa cafe is the type of restaurant when you want something quiet and zen. All over Instagram I've been seeing the wall of love from their backyard which push me to give it a try.
Staff are pretty nice, you get a big welcome as soon as you open the door. My server name was Anna, she was pretty attentive and jovial. I wanted a outside seat since it was so cold inside, and she helped me carry my stuff on the outside.
I went with mimosas , which she would get me some refill pretty fast.
Food was pretty good, at first I thought about getting an appetizer for entree since it was lunch hour and didn't want to overfill myself... so I ordered the octopus with potatoes. Well the plate came and it smelled delicious but the amount of mashed potatoes was ridiculous, such a small portion. So I decided to get something else.
I really loved the atmosphere at NOA CAFE and I have my pictures by the love mural.
Will definitely go back again -

So tough to rate this place but I have to be honest... personally idk how this spot has such high ratings. It makes no sense. I had seen the reviews, the pics, the ads and was like hmm must be good right? Na. Not. Luckily i got a coupon through here, so price wasn't bad, but if i wouldn't have I def would've said hey this food ain't worth that amount of money. Idk who their chef is, maybe they left before i got there but this food didn't taste like it was cooked by someone who knew what they were doing... their best dish is pad Thai-- well that was def the best in our table but tasted very little like a pad Thai. Not authentic at all... tried the pasta bolognese -- really dry, didn't like it. The shruma lamb wrap was not very good either :/ overall disappointed. Wanted to like this place? Not sure if i went during a day or time that the chef was out sick but wouldn't go back and really confused on how high these ratings are. It is a cute place, waiters were nice and they have a variety of plates. Oh fries were great tho!
